That's right! The unlock is here for iPhone 3G and 3GS using the 5.12.01 and the 5.09 bootloader/bootrom.
Ultrasn0w has release a new version of its unlock.
How to do it?
1- Restore your iPhone with the 3.1.3 firmware.
2- Jailbreak it using Spirit. (Can be found at www.spiritjb.com)
3-Go to Cydia and let it load.
4-While loading, remove your sim card from your iPhone.
5-When Cydia finishes loading, go to your Settings, and go turn off your 3G just in case.
6-Go back to Cydia, search for Ultrasn0w.
7-Download & Install it.
8-Reboot your iPhone.
9-Plug in sim card.
10-Congrats! Your iPhone is now unlocked!
