The iPod touch 2nd/3rd generations are not supported yet. iPhone 3GS neither.
So I just installed iDroid on my iPod touch 1st generation. It works pretty sweet. Now, my ipod touch is dual-booted with iPhone OS and Android OS. Although, Android doesnt have the "Power Management" bundle yet, so the iPod sometimes get too hot.
All you need to get android working on your device is:
-Linux operation system (Ubuntu is the best :) )
-A compatible iDevice
-The files/images
-Time
-A jailbroken 3.1.2 device with OpenSSH Installed.
